Why hire a personal trainer?

The role of the personal trainer is changing. It used to be that celebrities and wealthy individuals were the only people that used personal trainers. The stereotype of a personal trainer used to be that of a big bodybuilder. Today, the personal trainer is a highly skilled professional that has been educated and certified to work with various types of clients. Children as young as 7-years-old, 80-year-old men and women, obese adults, athletes, cancer recovery patients, and adults with diseases all benefit from working with personal trainers. Clients are using personal trainers for fat loss, weight gain, flexibility, improve posture, alleviate stress, increase energy, rehab an injury, improve quickness, general health benefits, and cancer recovery.

HOW LONG ARE NO EXCUSE FITNESS PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS?

Our private 1on1 sessions are 1 hour long and we combine 30 minutes of hands-on 1on1 resistance training with 30 minutes of self-guided Cardio. We call this the No Excuse Hour; Making a complete workout that will leave you challenged within a time frame that makes working out manageable for everyone’s lifestyle. WHAT IS THE TYPICAL COST OF HIRING A PERSONAL TRAINER OR DOING A GROUP WORKOUT?
  • In-home Personal training $80 to $150 per session
  • Luxury gyms “Equinox” $120 to $150 per session
  • Corporate gyms “24 hour Fitness” $80 to $100 per session
  • Group workout or boot camps $20 to $40 per session “sharing with 4 to 30 people”

HOW WILL MY TRAINER KNOW WHAT PROGRAM IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Prior to getting started, our personal trainers will meet with you for a free consultation. During this time, our personal trainers will ask you questions about your fitness goals, past history with exercise, etc, to get an idea of what type of program is right for you. All of our personal training programs are specifically tailored to meet each client’s specific goals.

WHO SHOULD I TALK TO ABOUT WHICH PROGRAM WOULD BE BEST FOR ME?
Our No Excuse Fitness Personal Trainers will be able to help you decide which program would be best for you.
DO I NEED EQUIPMENT FOR IN-HOME ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING?
Not necessarily. If you have equipment in your home, that is great. However in the beginning, using your own body weight can give you a great workout. We will also recommend bands, dumbbells, and other affordable equipment you can buy from your local store or online.
IS NO EXCUSE FITNESS A GYM OR A PRIVATE PERSONAL TRAINING STUDIO?

No Excuse Fitness is not a gym. We do not require a gym membership or allow clients to train on their own without the guidance of a personal trainer. No Excuse Fitness is a private, personal training studio where only the client and personal trainer work together privately 1on1 with a safe, friendly no judgment environment.

WHAT EXACTLY DOES A PERSONAL TRAINER DO?

At No Excuse Fitness, our personal trainers are highly skilled, nationally certified and have many roles when working with clients. Your personal trainer will serve as a coach, teacher, and motivator. It is the personal trainer’s job to assess your current physical and mental state, establish very specific goals, design an individualized program, and do whatever it takes to keep you on track towards getting results.

CAN WE SHARE A PERSONAL TRAINER?

Of Course, you can! If you would like to share one of our personal trainers with a friend, spouse, or coworker to save money or for more support? No problem, we can do that. WHAT ABOUT NUTRITION?
Exercise is extremely important in achieving your fitness goals, however, proper nutrition can not be ignored. Our personal trainers are very knowledgeable in regards to nutrition and would love to help you create a meal plan. Our personal trainers will keep you accountable with your meal plan which will help speed up your results.
WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT YOU WILL MEASURE TO SEE IF I'M MAKING ANY IMPROVEMENTS?

Resting heart rate (RHR)
A stronger, more efficient heart will have a lower RHR.

Body Measurements

Measure your hips, waist, thighs, and calves (and anything else you may want to keep track of.

If you need to lose body fat, these measurements will decrease gradually as you lose fat. Bear in mind that at the same time, hopefully, you are gaining muscle.

Body Fat Assessment

Our personal trainer will perform a body fat test either through tape measure, electric impedance, or calipers

Weight

Anecdotally, this seems to be the last thing to rely on. You may only notice a decrease in weight after seeing other improvements in your body.

HOW FAST WILL I GET RESULTS?

Within one week you will feel a difference, within 2 weeks feel different in your clothes, in the 3rd week feel stronger, more flexible and elevated happiness. Week 4, you will be assessed to find out what progress you have made. Within 30 days, you will have burned body fat and increased lean muscle, driving your metabolism higher, as well as your body will feel firmer. Within 90 days, you could be a whole different person! HOW WILL YOU HELP ME GET THE INDIVIDUAL RESULTS I AM LOOKING FOR?
We concentrate on providing personal attention, customized goals, and the specific results each individual is looking for. We are not a commercial warehouse, group workout facility, filled with inflated egos who seek to motivate clients by degrading and humiliating. The “beat down, then build up” approach is not conducive to long term success. Our main focus will be you, the client, and ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment, in a private “Judgement Free Zone”. Not only will you attain results, but you’ll also be given the necessary tools to help maintain the lifestyle, and body you want. In addition to 1on1 personal training, we also provide free meal planning, a food journal, and periodical body fat assessments for each and every client. This allows us to determine how many calories, carbohydrates, and protein you need in a day to burn fat and gain lean muscle.

We are No Excuse Fitness, a 1on1 Personal Training Studio, located on 17th street in Costa Mesa, CA. Blocks away from Newport Beach, minutes from the 55 and 73 freeways, and only a short drive from Huntington Beach. We are conveniently located in the heart of coastal Orange County.

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN FEES?
No! We do not charge additional gym fees or require you to commit to long-term contracts.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FACILITY? WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT SET YOU APART FROM EVERY OTHER PERSONAL TRAINER IN THE AREA?
We provide first-class service, at a great price! Fresh towels, bottled water, male and female restrooms, a private shower room, and a separate changing room are just some of the benefits our clients enjoy. In addition, we have an extensive cardio area with Precor elliptical machines, treadmills, and a rowing machine that you can use before, or after your training session to help maximize your workout and burn off those unwanted calories.
HOW MUCH DOES NO EXCUSE FITNESS CHARGE FOR 1ON1 PERSONAL TRAINING?

Between $50 to $40 per session, depending on what package you choose

There are several different personal training packages to choose from at No Excuse Fitness. The cost is determined by the following:

How often do you choose to use a personal trainer per week: 1, 2, or 3 times or more a week?

Whether or not you choose to work one on one with a personal trainer or you want to share a session with someone what we call couples training, the price can be only $30 to $35 per person per session.
