First and foremost, YOU NEED WATER!

Our body simply needs water to function. A significant portion of our body is composed of water. So when you lose fluids through sweat, body functioning by working out, etceteras. Consuming water can help you replenish fluids. People say that 8 glasses of water is good for you. I agree. In fact, there’s no real proof of this being a proper amount at all. But why drinking water is important, especially when you do work out?


When you are working out, you’re more likely to be losing water, both through your breath and through sweat. If you start out dehydrated, you won’t get a proper workout. You will get dizzy, your muscle won’t work as well, and you won’t feel as sharp mentally, and you will get cramps sooner.

So when you don’t drink enough water for your body. Common sense, you will get DEHYDRATED. So when you get DEHYDRATED your body will;

Signs of mild to moderate dehydration:

  • Thirst
  • Dry or sticky mouth
  • Not urinating much
  • Darker yellow urine
  • Dry, cool skin
  • Headache

Signs of severe dehydration:

  • Not urinating, or very dark yellow or amber-colored urine
  • Dry, shriveled skin
  • Irritability or confusion
  • Dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Rapid heartbeat
